Caramel Apple Cake

INGREDIENTS

5 MEDIUM TO SMALL APPLES - PEELED AND CORED (LEAVE THEM WHOLE)
1 1/2 CUPS FLOUR SIFTED
1 1/2 TSP BAKING POWDER SIFTED
1 TSP SALT SIFTED
1/2 CUP UNSALTED BUTTER
MIX ABOVE INGREDIENTS TOGETHER WITH A BLENDER

ADD 1 CUP SUGAR
2 EGGS
1/2 TSP VANILLA EXTRACT
1/2 CUP MILK

POUR THE BATTER AROUND THE APPLES AND THEN USE A SPATULA TO MAKE SURE THE BATTER IS COVERING THE ENTIRE PAN BUT NOT OVER THE APPLES.  APPLES SHOUDL BE SHOWING THROUGH THE TOP OF THE BATTER.
BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 35 MINUTES.  REMOVE FROM OVEN LET COOL.  REMOVE CAKE FROM PAN AND THEN POUR CARAMEL SAUCE OVER ENTIRE CAKE.  SLICE AND SERVE ALONE OR WITH VANILLA ICE CREAM
