Farm House Sugar Cookies
1 Cup Butter (room temp)
1 Cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1 Cup Sour Cream
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
4 tsp Baking Powder
4 1/2 cups Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
Cream the butter and sugar and eggs until creamy. Add vanilla and sour cream. Add all dry ingredients. Roll the dough out into a cylindrical shape. cut into 1/4 inch thick pieces. Dip on end into sugar, place on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 15-18 minutes. cookies will be soft and thick. Decorate or serve plain.
